Haven't put anything on here for ages...been busy and here is the result..the Mouseboat! Drawings inspired by a little mouse called Columbus who keeps me company in the studio.

Counting Sheep

After spending so much time on 'Clara' , I decided to have a break and go and draw the new lambs around the farm. So that I can include the work in my project I have created a book called 'Counting Sheep'. Here are the spreads:

At last!

Had a tutorial with Paula Metcalfe and she encouraged me to persevere with my computer generated work. After messing around I had a brainwave and removed the outline, printed out on watercolour paper and finished off with coloured pencil...at last..something I really like! Only another 24 pages to draw up!!

Experimentation for final pieces

Have been working on finding a medium to work up the final Clara pieces. Got very disheartened with the computer generated efforts so worked with watercolour , pen and ink and feel much happier with the results. Here is a dummy run...a few mistakes (especially the splodge where the birds are!) but like the less contrived results.....I think I will probably end up losing the Raj art theme and go for a much simpler style.
